Rijk Tulbagh Pottery design and hand make the most exquisite pieces, which are sold all over the Western Cape.

The majority of their work is concentrated on unique African designs, such as

• Big 5 (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino)
• Guinea fowl
• Rock art
• Olive bowls
• Dinnerware, bowls, plates, casseroles, teasets etc

The studio also opens up for the public and encourages interested parties to come and paint pottery items for themselves, for gifts or even your own unique dinner service.

Go along on Monday, Wednesday or Friday afternoons and relax while you paint.  You will be taught the basic principles of painting on ceramics and will be given advice regarding colour and design.  Your masterpiece will then be glazed and fired on the premises.
